Here are the Different Versions of the Volkswagen Taos

The Volkswagen Taos is offered in three different versions that let buyers choose the level of equipment and the price that matches their needs.

The Taos Trendline

The most affordable version of the Volkswagen Taos is the Trendline, which offers great value for the money by being equipped with a number of popular features as standard. These features include the Digital Cockpit driver information display, the heated front seats, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control and automatic LED headlamps. Just like every other Taos, this version is powered by a modern turbocharged 1,5L four-cylinder engine that delivers 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque while returning fuel consumption figures of only 8,5 litres per 100 kilometres combined.

The Taos Comfortline

For buyers who want a little more luxury, the Taos Comfortline adds a number of features and technologies to the equipment of the Trendline in order to provide a good balance between comfort and price. Some of the additional standard features of this version are the wireless charging mat, the dual-zone automatic climate control system, the keyless entry and start system, the 8-inch infotainment screen, the wireless versions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as the power adjustable driver’s seat with leatherette upholstery. In terms of active safety, the Taos Comfortline takes a big step forward by adding the forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.

The Taos Highline

The top-of-the-line version of the Taos is the Highline, a model that includes all of the latest technologies in a vehicle that is still very practical and affordable. In addition to all of the standard equipment found in the Comfortline model, the Highline trim-level receives the rear parking monitor, the rain-sensing wipers, BeatsAudio premium sound system, the larger 10,25-inch Digital Cockpit instrument display, the auto-dimming rear-view mirror, the ventilated front seats, the genuine leather upholstery, the heated steering wheel and the ambient lighting system.
